⚖️ NOT AUTHORISED BY THE SOLICITORS REGULATION AUTHORITY — AI ASSISTS THE LAWYER

SummitBridge Horizon is not a law firm and is not authorised or regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA). This product supports the legal team and assists the lawyer in their work; it is not a substitute for guidance from a qualified legal professional. Any AI output must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer must verify before it is acted upon. The AI assists the lawyer; it does not replace them.

⚖️ EU AI ACT — HIGH-RISK AI SYSTEM (ACCESS TO JUSTICE)

Under the EU AI Act (Article 6, Annex III area 8), AI systems used in legal research, case analysis, and access to justice are classified as high-risk. Compliance deadline: December 2027 (pending formal adoption under the EU Digital Omnibus). Requirements include transparency, human oversight, accuracy obligations, and technical documentation. The SRA requires solicitors to use AI responsibly with full accountability. Maximum fine: Maximum fine for non-compliance: €15M or 3% of global turnover (Annex III high-risk, Article 99(4) EU AI Act 2024/1689 — see eur-lex.europa.eu). Article 5 prohibited practices carry the higher €35M / 7% penalty but do not apply to this product class.. This product is designed with EU AI Act and SRA compliance in mind.

Who it is for

In-house legal teams and law firms handling high-volume contract review, due diligence, and risk assessment across sectors.

What customers tell us

  • Our team spends 4–6 hours manually reviewing a single contract, only to miss buried risk clauses buried in dense schedules.
  • We can't scale due diligence without hiring more junior lawyers, and we've no clear audit trail to prove compliance.
  • Reviewing contracts for regulatory alignment (GDPR, data sharing, liability caps) across jurisdictions takes weeks and costs us client work.

What's inside

  • Analyse unlimited contracts per month without per-document charges or review throttles
  • Instant risk flagging across 40+ risk categories (liability, IP, data protection, payment terms, termination clauses)
  • Extract and compare key terms (dates, amounts, obligations) side-by-side across multiple documents
  • Generate audit-ready summaries with clause citations for compliance and SRA oversight
  • Integrate contract metadata and risk scores into Outlook, Teams, or your practice management system via API

How we solve it

StatuteForgeIQ Firm uses large language models trained on legal precedent and regulatory frameworks to identify contractual risks in seconds, not hours. Every flag includes the exact clause reference and regulatory reason, so your team reviews with confidence, not guesswork. The system is built to SRA standards: full audit logs, no client data retention beyond analysis, and transparent confidence scores on every finding.

What you achieve in 30 days

Within 30 days, your team cuts contract review time from 4–6 hours to 45 minutes per document, and flags critical risks (uninsured liability, data transfer violations, unfavourable payment terms) that manual review would miss. You gain a queryable audit trail of all reviews for regulatory inspection.

How this product keeps improving

Risk categories and clause detection improve monthly as real contract reviews from your team feed back into model retraining. SRA compliance updates are pushed automatically when UK regulatory guidance changes, so your risk taxonomy stays current without manual recalibration.

FAQ

Can we pipe contract data into our practice management system or MS Teams?

Yes. Our REST API lets you send contracts and receive risk scores and summaries in JSON. Pre-built connectors exist for Teams and Outlook; custom integrations are configured in under a week.

What happens if a contract is sensitive or contains privileged information?

All contracts are processed in-memory and deleted immediately after analysis—we do not retain client documents or use them to train models. Full encryption in transit and at rest; audit logs are yours to download.

Is there a minimum contract volume or annual lock-in?

£299/month, paid monthly—no minimum volume, no annual commitment. You can pause or cancel anytime. The price covers unlimited reviews and integrations.

Does StatuteForgeIQ Firm hold an SRA Cyber Essentials certification or similar?

Our infrastructure is aligned with UK GDPR, NIS2, and ISO 27001 standards. We are not currently SRA-certified, but our delivery meets SRA requirements for data security, audit logging, and transparency on AI use in legal work. We recommend a security review with your compliance team before roll-out.
